he MIT Summer Philharmonic Orchestra consists of members of the
MIT community (students, alumni/ae, faculty, and staff) and
participants from the general community.

eorge Ogata, MIT Class of 1992, is the founder, Music Director, and Conductor of the orchestra. He is also the Conductor of the Longy Youth Chamber Orchestra, a program of the Preparatory Division of the Longy School of Music in Cambridge.

2007 Concert

he MIT Summer Philharmonic Orchestra presents this year's concert
on Saturday, August 11, 2007, at 8:00 P.M. in Kresge Auditorium
on the MIT campus. Admission is free to all. Parking is available along Memorial Drive, along Massachusetts Avenue, next to the West garage on Vassar Street, or in any parking lot on the MIT campus.
